About WonderWaffles Amsterdam

Since 2009, WonderWaffles has been a staple at the Lindengrachtmarket in the Jordaan. We’re known for baking the best stroopwafels — always fresh, warm, and made the traditional way.

Our waffles are cooked on hot irons, sliced while still warm, and filled with golden syrup — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. We also make poffertjes: small, fluffy Dutch pancakes, served straight from the griddle with butter and powdered sugar.

Over the years, our stand has grown along with the city, and so has our menu. Today, you can enjoy a coffee or tea with your waffle, and even pick up a few simple Dutch gifts inspired by local culture.

We care about people, animals, and the planet. That’s why we pay close attention to where our ingredients come from and how they’re made. Many of the products we sell also help support nature and culture.
